(My favorite non-human picture from spring break)

2 more days till NY! Coming home from Berlin, aside form other strange events, I was in a cabin with 2 girls who were REALLY sick... So of course, I decided I too should get sick. I managed to successfully do that, and had to fly to Rome with a head cold. Bad weather led to us flying at an altitude of 55,000 feet, so the descent from the abnormally high cruising altitude killed my ears. Same thing on the way home, but only from 33,000 feet. Hopefully my trip back to the US won't be nearly as painful.

I have so much packing left to do, I don't know how it will all fit into 2 bags weighing 32kg and one carry-on weighing 8kg. Well, back to packing, then off to the Dr. and to buy some waffles to bring home! Back to work!

It's not a tough thing to do, and I thought that giving credit to the photographer is obvious thing, but I've been starting to see my pictures being used on others' sites, with no credit given to me. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

Bonjour! Finals are officially DONE for me. After a little picture-swapping with Q, I'm off to pack up my stuff for Barcelona, Munich and Berlin! (See my entire post-semester itinerary here.)

I really can't believe my time in Europe is almost up. I've had an absolutely amazing time in every respect (even school, to an extent)! Thanks to everyone who helped make this trip great including (not in any particular order): my parents for sending me; Mechthild, Johann and Ed for making me feel very much at home for the past 5 months; Ed Saliklis for organizing this experience; everyone at Vesalius (Lafayette, Council, etc...) for helping me have a great time; Julia for always being my travel buddy; Luke for being a great house-mate (and partner-in-crime on the trams); Janet for always leaving hysterical emails for me to read before big trips; Jeremy for giving me all the information I'd ever need about this trip while I was still at Lafayette; Kristen for keeping me up-to-date with Lafayette happenings and Anthony, for reminding me that even though I just traveled Europe for 5 months and have been pretty independent, I'm still about 12 years old at heart (if you could only read our conversations)! And a special thanks to everyone who has kept in touch over the past 5 months - I've sent out tons of postcards in return, but I have been hearing that not everyone has gotten them... So, if you have emailed me, chances are I sent you a post-card - hope you have received it!

Current return plans have me leaving Brussels most likely on June 1 and arriving at JFK that night. I'll be home until June 5, when I start my summer internship! As soon as I make a movie of my European experience, it will be posted on my webpage (there will still be a Brussels link on my normal home page when I take this page down). Until then, I will post my post-semester trip pictures as soon as I get home.

Now that you're tired of reading this and want to know where the old links went that used to be in the welcome message,
