"None of us will ever forget this day, yet we go forward to defend freedom and all that is good and just in our world." -President George W. Bush

Life today is quite different from what it was before the tragic events of September 11, 2001. So many things that we have all taken for granted for so long are now gone.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the rescue workers and those still working at Ground Zero for their many selfless deeds. As a friend to a number of people still working at the WTC scene, I'd like to say that you are all truly amazing people. You are all heroes, and your efforts will be forever remembered. If you have a story you would like to share on this page, or a passage of gratitude to the workers at Ground Zero, please email it to sept11sites@mnilson.com. I will post as many letters as I can.

Aside from the current heroes of the World Trade Center disaster, it is only fitting to also express my sincere gratitude for all American Veterans and current Military personnel that protect our freedoms every day. Without them, we would not be enjoying many of the liberties we enjoy today.

As everyone was affected in a different way, many people have chosen to express their feelings in different ways on personal websites. Below are just a few of the thousands of pages created after the events of September 11, 2001. Also included among the links are charities set up to assist the survivors of the World Trade Center disaster and their families.
